I have no idea who has hacked my blog. That last post is NOT mine, and I am entirely unable to delete it. Can anybody figure out what it is? It's freaking me out.
The threatening emails continue. I am probably going to delete this whole account. It was a bad idea, and I just can't afford to face these kinds of attacks. I thought I could help people by exposing the truth, but sometimes the truth is a little to close for comfort.
I'm a poli-sci major, I'm a conservative, and I'm superman-- almost. Here I will take potshots at everything that's messed up with our world, and specifically with our government. Cuz there's a lot. Oh, and I have absolutely nothing to do with this. Total coincidence... I guess I should have googled my blog name first. Don't hate, Google!

You'll never believe this, but it's true anyway
Two things on the horizon that should turn heads:
1. A brief run-down of certain congressional activities going on just behind the scenes that aren't strictly constitutional (you know what I mean...)
2. And a very nasty leaked military report regarding a covert U.S. troop deployment to Palestine. Julian Assange has nothing on this. I'm really scared to be the first to blow the whistle on this, but I don't see any news of it anywhere else at all. The friend that pointed it out to me is more scared than I am.
Stay tuned. I have to be very careful how I release these things.

Not very encouraging
To whoever sent the threatening email regarding my last couple posts:
Whoever you really are, if you're pranking me, you have way too much time on your hands. If not, you're an even bigger loser and I swear if you come near me or my accounts you will regret it.
And the rest of you commenters, I appreciate your attempts to engage, but you just aren't getting it. I feel like I'm yelling into the wind. I am not making this stuff up. You'll eventually learn that, one way or the other.
Seriously, sometimes I wonder if it's even worth it to try to get the word out like this. Maybe I should cut this blog loose, and let everyone find out for themselves after it's all too late.

Dot-to-dot
Has anyone noticed any connecting points between the following events? You may have to look under the surface.
- Hurricane Katrina aftermath
- BP Oil disaster
- North Korea/South Korea military posturing
- Civil unrest in the Middle East and Africa all at once
- The assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in 1914
- Catholic church scandals
Connect the dots, people. Do you see what I see?

It's almost like the X-files in real life
For some reason which may or may not have everything to do with media bias and elaborate coverups, this story is going largely unreported in the news. Well, that's what this blog is for.
From what I've pieced together, about 2,500 of the 4,000 residents of Barrow, Alaska have been rather abruptly relocated by government-contracted real estate agents. Many of the residents had already left town, all within the same six-week period, but now it's almost a full-scale evacuation. They are being totally hushed up and all have to sign non-disclosure agreements in exchange for free relocation and housing costs. I don't even know where they're being moved to, but the big question isn't where, it's why. I'm going to keep doing research on this and see what I can find out. I'm almost afraid of what I might dig up, but it's pretty exciting too.

How's this for creepy?
Last night I got an email from a friend of a friend. Well, I got it from my friend, who got it from his friend. But it's definitely for real.
He works at a big telecom. I can't say which one, to protect him, but it's a big one. He's on their database team, and he says they received some kind of secret government mandate the other day to provide access to all of the geo-tracking information for the company's mobile device users. Every single user of their network and their devices will now be in the hands of some unnamed government agency, all under the table. He suspects that his company isn't the only one that got that mandate.
So I ask you: why would our government need or want to know the whereabouts of its citizens all over the world? Why would they want the power to reach out and find you at a moment's notice? And most importantly, who is going to oversee this? Who issues that command?
I don't know the answers, but the questions make me very, very nervous.

A Monograph Upon the Subject of "Federal" "Agencies"
Yes, those are both in quotes. Because as every free-thinking person knows (who's still wearing their tin foil beanie), most of them aren't limited to the federal scope, and they have nothing to do with agency.
Remember what I was saying about how big brother is not going to save you, and you shouldn't expect anyone to hold your hand? The shadowy organizations on this list are the worst offenders. They'll claim up front to be wonderful, loving institutions full of helpful protectors. But dig around deep enough, and you'll find all kinds of things that don't add up. If they were only what they appeared to be at face value, they wouldn't have all the crazy powers, back-room dealings, and illogical funding sources. Some of them can't be explained at all, once you actually ask about their purpose.
Here's the run-down of my top five government fronts:
1. FEMA - "Federal Emergency Management Agency" - What have these guys done? Why are they granted almost limitless power in the event of any kind of emergency (and who defines what an emergency is, anyway?)
2. IRS - "Internal Revenue Service" - Who are these guys, and where in official legislation does it say we need them? Talk about men in black showing up at your door... and yet, I hear that the Federal Reserve has never been audited, ever.
3. NSA - "National Security Agency" - Between them, Homeland Security, SWAT teams, National Guard, Military, and the FBI/CIA/SS/who knows what else, I sure HOPE we're secure. Somehow I still get the heebie-jeebies.
4. ALPHA - "American Literacy Promotion and Heuristics Agency" What is this thing? Recently formed (end of 2009, I believe) as some kind of federalized child care initiative, this inexplicable piece of pork has yet to come up with any kind of plausible public mission statement.
5. TSA - "Transportation Security Administration" - Part of Homeland Security, this group got a big power boost in recent years. Now they're scanning our most intimate areas for bombs... or something. Keeping tabs on terrorists? Maybe they just want to keep tabs on ALL OF US, ALL OF THE TIME. It's like 1984! (The Orwell one, not the year that Return of the Jedi was shamefully abused at the Oscars.)

Fear, hysteria, and surrender
Story time. Gather round.
A very long time ago, some people found themselves in a situation they were afraid of. They let the fear go to their heads, take over their minds, and they desperately looked to the first person or group that was willing to promise them security and a measure of prosperity.
These people were cave men. The leader that took over and promised them security was named Og, and he became the world's first tyrant.
This same scenario played itself out over and over thousands of times over the succeeding milennia. In small villages, in the Roman empire, and in modern Europe, people keep giving up their freedoms and rights for a little promised watching-over. "Mussolini made the trains run on time", right?
Well, uh, no, actually. That's another one of those little historical myths I got worked up about before. And if you pay 75% of your money and give up the ability to choose things for yourself, the current government will take care of you, right?
Huh-uh. Only in fantasy land. Get ready for Arnie's next big revelation to the world, because here it comes (not that anyone's listening):
The government will not fix your problems. They won't feed you, not for long, not the food you need. And they will not save you from the badguys.
They ARE the badguys.

So I just found out for the first time today that taxation wasn't really a very big motivator for the Revolutionary War. This is the latest in a series of revelations I have discovered on my own (not in school) which directly contradict what I was taught as a youngster. It's too much.
It's one thing to teach a simplified version of history for kids, but it's another to teach an incorrect version.
It's one thing to teach a view you believe and then later have it disproved by revisionist historians (darn useless revisionists), but it's another to teach kids incorrect ideas that are known to be incorrect.
And guess what? None of these misconceptions I've endured were corrected in my college classes. I had to research this stuff on my own, just out of personal interest. Who knows how many other things I learned in school are way off base, but will never be corrected?
I'm talking about the failure of the public education system. I'm talking about the wretched failure of liberalized universities to do any good at all. Bah, whatever. I don't want to go into any more details. It's every man for himself these days. You have to find your own truth, because no one will hand it out to you.
Up next: why healthcare reform will fail, and how corporate buy-outs by the government are going to be the downfall of our economy.
